Eye Bags and Eye Lids
Upper and lower eyelid surgery
Upper and lower eyelid surgery
Blepharoplasty refers to the upper and lower eyelid surgery. The upper eyelid usually has excess skin that is removed through surgery, with minimal scarring.
Bags usually appear in the lower eyelid, caused by the protrusion of periorbital fat, with a bulging underneath the eyes, typically called eye bags.
These bags are eliminated through a small incision underneath the eyelids, which will leave unnoticeable scarring, or through the inner eyelid with an incision in the conjunctive gland, which will logically not leave external scars.
